excellent location lovely owners nice breakfast cooked option
I found the location excellent with a short walk to the town center. The owners were very lovely and cute. I enjoyed a nice breakfast that included cereal yogurt, fruit and a cooked option. I plan to stay here again if I return.
The shower temperature fluctuated slightly. It would benefit from more consistent regulation.

a little disappointed with one aspect
loud altercation lack of apology
the location was good.
there was a very prolonged and loud altercation on the premises from 1am. i was awake throughout this disturbance and found it VERY hard to sleep afterwards. i left in the morning, and nobody offered an apology or recompense for the disturbance.

warm welcome super clean hotel great tip yummy breakfast
The hotel was very super clean, both inside and out. I got so much help from the hosts. They provided great tips for local restaurants. Breakfast was yummy, and I ordered exactly what I wanted. I will come back next time for sure.
I find the pillow in the room too soft, but I didn't ask for any other one to be fair.

disruptive altercation lack of communication
the breakfast options were extensive, fresh, cooked well, and presented nicely.
i found several issues that need attention. the altercation on the premises at 1am was disruptive. gardaí were called, and i was not offered any apology or compensation for this disturbance (i expect a higher standard of communication regarding such incidents).

des and oonagh are great hosts. des offered restaurant recommendations and other information about the neighborhood. the 11am check out was also good. the place are clean and well kept.
there was only two pillows on the bed. those pillows were a bit low for us. we did find one more in the press.

the hotel had ample parking spaces close the the main entrance, what made the arrival process very smooth, especially if you travel with much luggage or have mobility issues. perfect location inside the town, close to restaurants and bars.

i secured a twin room, initially. later, a double became available, fulfilling my request. the bed offered considerable comfort. cleanliness was definitely a highlight and the shower provided a powerful stream. the proprietors, a friendly couple, contributed significantly to the pleasant atmosphere.
